Leo grunts a non-committal noise in place of an apology because he isn't actually sorry. Buffy's friend had been a douche; if anyone was going to see it immediately, it'd be Leo. Or any phase that wasn't 'violent and bloody'. "Oh Jesus. Call it eyeliner. 'Guyliner' is ridiculous."
